I'm Ian Monroe — I write software, consult with organizations on their technology strategy, and make music whenever I get the chance.

I've been building for the web for over two decades. My work spans from small nonprofits figuring out their first digital presence to large institutions modernizing legacy systems. I specialize in Drupal, modern JavaScript, and increasingly in helping teams integrate AI tooling into their workflows in ways that are actually useful.

On the creative side, I run Ianland Radio — a 24/7 internet radio stream — and have a long, ongoing relationship with music in various forms.

For professional work, I operate through Monroe Digital Consulting, where I take on web development and AI automation engagements.
